This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of GDPR – performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract at your request.
If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of entering into a contract to supply our goods or provide our services.
How long will we process personal data?
If further cooperation does not occur, your personal data will be processed for a maximum of 4 years from our last communication.
2. Processing Personal Data When Making a Purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will handle the personal data needed to ensure the conclusion of the contract for the supply of our goods or services. This mainly includes billing data such as name, surname, and address.
Why?
We need to process your personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivering goods or providing services. We will also use your contact information to communicate with you about the status of your order, potential complaints, or your questions.
Additionally, we will process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from applicable legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes or for resolving complaints and other matters).

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

During the delivery of goods or services and for 4 years after the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly opted out of receiving marketing communications, we will use your email address to send you our marketing communications.
On what legal basis?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communications targeted at our customers.
How long will we process personal data?
For 4 years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at kutrucz@gigantslovakia.sk.
II. Who Has Access to Your Data?
Your personal data will remain with us. However, some companies or other entities that help us operate our e-shop may have access to your personal data, including:
- The operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Czech Republic, ID: 289 35 675).
- Companies involved in shipping goods.
- Companies involved in processing payments.
- Marketing agencies.
We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

- We do not have a Data Protection Officer in our company.
